is probably the first question you ask on arriving at the cinema. Last year I didn't see enough movies so I vowed I'd do 2010 differently.
In its first edition of the year Time Out listed details 71 cinemas across London and named another 25 for good measure. I aim to see a film in every cinema in London in one year. Can't be that hard, can it? Well, I'm already behind schedule.
This isn't a film review site, although inevitably I'll mention what I see. It's intended to be more of an exploration of cinema and cinemas, an oblique travelogue of London, an aide memoir and a guide to which contributions are welcome.
Most of all it's a celebration of that wonderful sensation that accompanies the dimming of the auditorium, the first flickering of the light across the screen and the beginning of the each amazing journey to the movies.
